April 15

Longgg day. Got up around 5.45AM for the drive home. I slept most of the way, and listened ot my iPod. I also read a good chuck of In Cold Blood, which is pretty awesome.

We got home around 7.30ish, unloaded the car and had some food. I took a shower and put away all my stuff. I picked up Dan and helped him get his room back together. They got all new wood floors and it looks nice. We drove to Adam's house and hung out. It was nice to get away from the family and just chill with friends. We talked and had foods and stuff. Left at 11.30.

Tomorrow's Easter! I wonder where the Easter Bunny is...

On the bridge out of Destin, the sun was just coming up. And this is the shot I got. It's kinda dark, and it was through the car window.

April 14

Last day at the beach and it was good.

I didn't wake up having a kickass dream, but I did have pizza for breakfast lol. My parents ran to Wal-Mart for some things, so me and my sister watched old sitcoms on ABC Family. Christ, some of those 80's tv shows are so dumb.

Anyway, after lunch me and my family went to the beach. I read and listened to my iPod, then swam around in the ocean some more. It was green flag, but some little clean waves were coming in. Down the beach a little this guy was teaching his kid how to surf, and the kid actually did it. It was cool. Laid around the pool later, then headed up to get cleaned up. We had Mexican for dinner. Yum.

I forgot my camera again, but when we got home the sunset was still going and it was beautiful. Got some shots of that. Plus there's a pic of what I normally did all week.

April 13

Today I woke up having the coolest/strangest dream I've had in a long long time. It involved airplanes, king kong, terrorists, Napoleon, and Jesus. The second I woke up, I had to find some paper and write it down...I didn't want to forget it. Suddenly, when I was writing it down, it didn't seem to make as much sense, but i'd be willing to explain it someone sometime.

Anyway, today was fun. Me and my Dad went to the beach before noon because I was just watching TV and I wanted to get out. We got some sun before Lunch, when my Mom and sister came back from yet, more shopping. But I think they're done now. We had subs for lunch. They were good.

After lunch, Megan came down to our part of the beach and we layed out and swam around in the ocean. It was green flag, so it was calm and you could wade out far and find sandbars, it was def fun. There was a TON of fish near the shore, we walked by like 3 schools of at least 1000 fishies. Fishermen were just casting off the beach, pulling in pretty big fish. ....all this fish kinda made me wonder if any BIGGER fish would come in, but they didn't lol.

We met my Mom's friends for dinner back at the old pier again. I had the same thing for dinner, it was good again.

...Photos are kinda lame today. I had sOSSO many perfect shots at the pier at sunset, but i forgot my camera!!

April 12

It was a slow, somewhat cloudy day today. Woke up earlier than normal and my Dad made some eggs and bacon. My Mom and sister went out shopping because they didn't get in enough the night before I guess lol. So I kinda just layed around until noon when my Mom got home and we all had lunch.

My Dad dropped me off down by Megan's condo and we layed on the beach. It was kind of cold, but hey, your at the beach - I didn't complain. I took some shots on the beach. We left there around 3 and hung out in her condo and watched some TV and had snacks. She drove me home, my family was just getting back from the pool too, so we all jumped into the shower and got cleaned up for dinner.

After dinner did some shopping, I got a shirt. Nowwww, Im gonna take it easy the rest of the night and talk with friends.

April 11

Ahh, today was warm and the waves were fun. I slept in again and had some cinnamon crunch for breakfast, well a late breakfast/lunch lol. I threw my suit on and drove to pick up Megan. We were supposed to go visit some of my Mom's friends, but they came here instead, which was better. We all hung out at the beach. I plugged my iPod into some speakers and had some musics playing in the backround.

All afternoon we ate food, sunbathed, played around in the waves, bodyboarded a little. It was def fun.

For dinner we went to some old guy's restaruant near the old pier in Destin, it was def good tho.

After dinner did some shopping. Met up with families and saw Megan at the shopping center. I got some new shoes and a sweatshirt, yay.

April 10

Today was a good "Florida" day. Slept in, put my suit on, had left over chinese food, headed out.

Called megan and drove down to her condo. We layed out by the pool over near her place, then took a break and walked across the street to the beach. The waves were screwed up due to the wind, they were uneven and choppy. We took a long walk on the beach, which was nice. I forget how much I love being around the ocean.

Around 4, headed back home. Me and the family got cleaned up and went out for dinner. Got some popcorn shrimp, yum. After dinner, went shopping. We ran into Megan's family at the shopping center, so me and Megan split, and walked around ourselves. She got this smoothie thing, and it was really good lol. I want to have one next time I'm there.

Tomorrow I guess we're heading to the next town to meet some of my parent's friends. Hopefully there'll be some kids my age.

I tried to take worth-while pictures today. I should've taken my camera for the walk on the beach - tomorrow I'll put it to better use.

April 8 & 9

Okay, I'll be able to update from now on, but I couldn't last night because the condo didn't have internet. So I'll update for two days.

So, Saturday morning, we got up at the early time of 6AM and packed the car up and starting driving south. I slept until like 10, then listened to my ipod and read, or wrote stuff. After lunch popped in some DVDs, and that kept me and my sister occupied. So when we finally got to Ft. Walton Beach, we quicly found out that there was a problem. The condo that my dad go with his timeshare thingy...wasn't really a condo, but a single room hotel that was at the most 12 x 20 ft. Being 4 people, we had a perdicament. We went out for dinner, then found places to sleep on the couch or ground, my Mom and sister took the double bed.

The next morning, this morning, my dad woke us up and said he found us a new place, idk if it was trade or not. So we packed all our stuff back up and drove to the next town Destin, which is where we normally hang out anyway. Our condo is just a little down the road from my friend, it's right across from the ocean, and there's 4 beds. Haha, so we're all happy. OH, and there's internet :]

OK. Today it was a warm, 75, the ocean had little to medium waves, just fun to play in. The ocean was cold, but it always is at spring break here. Met up with megan after lunch. We hung out on the beach and at the pool. Drove her home before dinner, and we all got cleaned up. My family went out for chinese - unlike every other restaurant in this town, this place was empty, which was nice.

So now, Im in bed, writing a worthy update and chatting with friends back in good ol' IL.

I really didn't take any good pictures today, which isn't an excuse cause there's palm trees and there was an awesome sunset today. Here's the best I got. I'm promising better ones tomorrow - my camera will be at my side.

April 7

Today was friday, and it was a good day, except for a French test that I might've failed lol. After school it was really warm out and the sun was out too. I cracked my window open, and then went outside to take pictures and mess around on the drums. Headed to grandparents for dinner, when we left my grandpa handed me the strangest magazine.

After dinner, Kelsey came over and we looked at pictures and photos, then checked out some cool upcoming movie trailers. Later, Dan came on his bike and we checked out some OC. Dan had to leave, but it was cold, so we stuck his bike in Kelsey's car, snuck out, and went to Dan's house. Watching the first season of the OC just shows how much better it is than what it is now.

I'm leaving tomorrow morning for Florida, our family's annual trip to Destin. It'll be fun, hopefully there's some good waves.

Oh, and I'll bring Rita and search around for internet, so hopefully I'll still be able to update.

April 6

Today it rained, but it was calm and relaxing. After school Clayton came over and he updated his iPod with new tunes. We also bought some new musics, and found some cool songs. We found out that Casacada is pretty much a ripoff. He left around dinner because my Dad was freaking out..as usual.

After dinner, I did nothing productive, lol. I got some cool pics, watched the OC (yeah), anddd made a birthday present for Casey. Hope she likes it.

Well, tomorrow's friday..then spring break! woot.

April 5

It was back to reality today, but I liked seeing all my friends and having the usual chatter and laughter. After school I walked out of the building and felt the warm air and sun, and it made me happy. Mr. Blue Sky was out, and Franz blasting on the way home made it even better. When I got home, I walked around my neighborhood and listened to my iPod and snapped pics. Tonight was my last band concert, the jazz band has one more gig, the Jazz Band Dance. But yeah, I'm glad it's over, but I'll miss some of the younger drummers.

..high school will soon be just a memory.
